Children were being overlooked. Waitlists at big centers were long. And most parents couldn’t find someone they trusted with their special needs child.

The founders of ComCare saw this reality every day, not just in their work, but in the lives of their friends. So, they stepped in to bridge the gap.​

They made it their goal to help every person with mental and behavioral challenges in Houston get back the respect and dignity they deserve.

Mission
Our mission at ComCare Support Center in Houston is to assist individuals with mental health challenges in achieving their hopes, dreams, and the opportunity to live as independently as possible. We do this through respectful, responsive, and effective behavioral health treatment tailored to the needs of Houston families and communities.
Vision
Our vision is to help build a humane and healthy community in Houston where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. We believe everyone deserves a fair chance to reach their full potential, free from discrimination, supported by inclusion, and connected to a community that values mental health.

At ComCare, the growth of each person in our care is our joy.
We never treat two people the same, because no two journeys are the same, and no two families are either, especially within Houston’s diverse community.
